Watch Bob Ross The Joy Of Painting On Roku

One of the most popular series ever to run on PBS was Bob Ross, The Joy of Painting. Now you can watch it free on demand, anytime free on your Roku.

The Bob Ross Joy of Painting Roku channel has 31 seasons of the popular painting how to show. The show ran from 1983 to 1994 so I am guessing they broke the show up into multiple seasons per year at some point. I have watched a few episodes so far and there have been zero ads, I don’t know if this will be a completely channel or if they are just doing a roll out without ads.

Even if you have never watched Bob Ross before I would recommend the channel for any budding painter or if you are just looking for some free and interested content. Bob as always is a joy to watch paint and his show is very relaxing and a great stroll down memory lane for those of us who grew up watching The Joy of Painting.

More about the channel from the developer:

You’ve seen him before. He’s the soft spoken guy painting happy clouds, mountains and trees in about twenty-six television minutes, using big housepainting-type brushes and cooing soothing “you can do its” to the audience. His Joy of Painting program is the most recognized, most watched TV art show in history.

You can add the free Joy of Painting channel from your onscreen Roku Channel Store or by clicking here and adding to your Roku online.
