Last week CenturyLink announced that they were entering the “live tv” streaming business with CenturyLink Stream.
If you are looking to stream this service on your TV there are currently only two options. Their own Android TV device, called the CenturyLink Player, and the best streaming device of all, the Roku (Roku XS, Roku 2, 3, 4, or Roku Stick, Roku Express, Roku Express+, Roku Premiere, Roku Premiere+, and Roku Ultra).
An added interesting note about the Roku launch of CenturyLink Stream, is the fact that much ado has been made in the past about DirecTV Now, Hulu Live, PS Vue and others bypassing Roku with their initial launches. CenturyLink Stream has managed to launch a pretty comprehensive app on the Roku OS.
CenturyLink Stream has two base packages:
Ultimate Package $45 a month ($5 discount for CenturyLink broadband customers)
45 channels, including A&E, CNBC, Discovery Channel, Disney Channel, ESPN, Food Network, HGTV, HISTORY, MSNBC and USA and more. Also included in select local markets ABC, NBC, Telemundo, UniMás, and Univision stations.

The Latino package $15 a month.
27 channels including, Azteca, BeIn Sports, Discovery en Espanol, ViendoMovies and Univision Networks – Univision Deportes Network, Galavision, Univision, UniMás and more.
CenturyLink also has many themed add on packages starting at $5 add on including news, sports, movies and more.
