Time Warner May Invest In Hulu

Time Warner may be considering buying a stake in Hulu according to a story by the Wall Street Journal.

The story says the rumored terms would have Time Warner buying a 25% stake in Hulu that would value the streaming service at $5 billion dollars (comparison Netflix is valued at $46 billion).

Hulu is currently owned by a partnership of 21st Century Fox, Disney and NBCUniversal. Time Warner has recently been publicly stating they were rethinking their video streaming policies, hinting at longer broadcast to streaming windows. With this latest news they may in fact be looking at becoming serious players in the streaming service field as well.

What do you think, is this a good development for streaming?
