Sling TV Announces Next Gen UI: myTV

Sling TV which has been praised for it’s bare bones cable cutting bundle has also received it’s fair share of criticism for it’s interface and spotty streaming quality. While the streaming quality can often be the issue of the individual consumer’s ISP, the interface is strictly on Sling TV.

In September of last year Sling rolled out a new interface that was praised by most users as a definite improvement. Sling continues to work on the interface with their new myTV interface:

Sling TV unveiled its second-generation user interface (UI) at CES 2016. The new design will create a more personalized experience, as well as improve content discovery across the Sling TV platform. The new UI will be optimized for each Sling TV-supported device and will start rolling out to devices in a phased-approach, starting in the first quarter of 2016.”
