The most popular streaming service on Roku (by streaming hours) is about to increase it’s subscription plan prices.
Netflix announced today that they would be silvering their first price increase since 2015, starting in November. According to Mashable, the price increase will hit Standard, and Premium plans. Basic appears to be the only plan exempt from the increase.
Mashable shared a statement from Netflix regarding the price hike, “From time to time, Netflix plans and pricing are adjusted as we add more exclusive TV shows and movies, introduce new product features and improve the overall Netflix experience to help members find something great to watch even faster.”
Just how much will your plan increase? The report says standard will increase from $9.99 to $10.99, and Premium will increase from $11.99 to $13.99.
