Man Arrested For Stealing Almost $2k Worth Of Roku Devices

Cord cutters are often portrayed as being frugal. It looks like a Schenectady, NY man not only didn’t want to pay a huge cable bill, he also didn’t want to pay for his Roku either.

News10 reports that 26-year-old Timothy Grier was arrested with $1,700 worth of stolen Roku devices. The story says he grabbed a large suitcase from the local Walmart and loaded it up with Roku devices, and then bolted out of the store through the lawn and garden without paying. Grier was arrested shortly thereafter.

Also, I should note before I get any complaints, I of course was kidding that Grier was a cord cutter. It’s quite obvious that he works for a cable customer service department.
