Kidoodle.TV Is Now On Roku

The Kidoodle.TV Channel is now available on the Roku® platform. A Parent Media Co. Inc. (“APMC”) today announced that its popular on-demand service for kids, Kidoodle.TV, is now available on Roku players and Roku TV™ models, giving millions of Roku customers in the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom access to the Kidoodle.TV Channel and its Family Moments™ feature.

Kidoodle.TV provides Roku customers who subscribe to the Kidoodle.TV Channel with unlimited, on-demand access to a dynamic, feature-rich streaming experience. The Kidoodle.TV library houses thousands of hours of age-appropriate, award-winning premium and modern titles such as Tea Time with Tayla, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Learn to Draw and, just added, a great new line-up of kids’ music videos from a variety of award-winning artists. Making the Kidoodle.TV Channel uniquely relevant to families, Kidoodle.TV also offers on-demand access to subscribers’ own family videos, which may be uploaded from mobile devices through the Kidoodle.TV Family Moments feature and viewed over the Kidoodle.TV Channel on the Roku platform, as well as on mobile devices. The Family Moments feature keeps families organized and connected by allowing them to quickly upload, view and share their favorite video memories with family and friends across the world.

Specifically built to preserve memories and alleviate the “device is full, cannot take video” storage crisis, families can also take advantage of the Family Moments feature to implement healthy data management practices, and now, with access on the Roku platform, families can regularly partake in ‘family viewing nights’ on their homes’ main screens.

“Let your kids be the star in their own home! Kids love to watch themselves on screen,” says Neil Gruninger, Chief Product Officer for APMC. “There are so many great reasons for families to use and enjoy the Kidoodle.TV Channel and we are thrilled to bring Kidoodle.TV into the homes of our customers through the Roku platform. Roku is a leading streaming platform and has the most engaged audience of streamers in the U.S. today. Making Kidoodle.TV available on the Roku platform will give Kidoodle.TV customers an exciting, elevated experience on the TV screen that we know they’ll love!”

The expansion onto the Roku platform represents an exciting new era for Kidoodle.TV as the platform completes the ecosystem for media viewing within the household. Kidoodle.TV subscribers can seamlessly view content between a number of connected screens, ranging from smart TVs, to streaming devices, to smartphones, tablets and computers.

“Kidoodle. TV is a great addition to the more than 240 Kids & Family channels available on the Roku platform and provides our customers and their children with easy access to a vast library of family friendly content, as well as their personal family videos,” said Ziba Kaboli-Gerbrands, director of content acquisition at Roku. “With more than 3,000 streaming channels in the U.S., the Roku platform has one of the largest selections of streaming video entertainment available today. The addition of channels such as Kidoodle.TV ensures we continue to deliver a wide selection of streaming content for everyone in the family.”
