hoopla Finally Arrives On Roku

The free library streaming service hoopla has finally arrived on Roku.

As we exclusively reported last month, hoopla indicated that a “sneak peek” version of their app would be available on Roku as soon as it got through the approval process. That day has finally arrived. While this is a scaled down version, a more robust version of the app is reportedly in the making.

From the developer:

hoopla is a groundbreaking digital media service offered by your local public library that allows you to stream movies and television episodes to your TV for free with no waiting. We have thousands of titles to choose from, with more being added daily.

hoopla is like having your public library at your fingertips. Anytime. Anywhere.
