One of the biggest hurdles to cord cutting for many is the fear that they will have to do without local weather information on their TV. There are a few nice options for local weather app channels on your Roku, you can check them out below.
Weather Underground
Weather Underground is a very nice free weather channel. From their Roku page, “Weather information for any location including current conditions, forecast, satellite, radar, weather warnings, and web cams.”

WeatherNation is one of the more comprehensive Roku weather channels, featuring live broadcasts, maps ect. Best of it is free, from the developer:

Weather4us is a free for 30 day and then a one time charge of $4.99 to keep it. Personally I think any of the free options above are fine, but this channel does offer some very comprehensive information.

NewsOn
While not strictly a weather channel, NewsOn is a free channel that provides local news broadcasts, including local weather for most of the United States. By far one of the greatest tools for cord cutting to stay in touch with your local news and information short of an antennae.
