Enjoy Bad Horror Movies On Your Roku, With The Monster Channel

One of my favorite new free ad supported channels on the Roku is The Monster Channel. TMC is a linear format (continuous play, not on demand) channel featuring lots of self described “bad horror films”. If obscure monster and horror movies are your thing this channel is definitely for you.

Besides current ads to pay the bills the channel features lots of retro movie ads as well.

The channel is growing in popularity and actually went down for a bit yesterday as they had exhausted their bandwidth and had to add more, but it is now up and streaming away.

Here’s a brief description of the channel from the developer:

24/7 midnight movie television! Join us for bad horror movies, retro TV commercials, monster wrestling, creepy PSAs and shorts, news and previews of horror movies, TV and video, documentaries, interviews, and more! The first independent interactive TV channel since 2010!

You can add the channel by searching your onscreen channel store or by clicking here and adding to your Roku online.

The channel is also available to live stream directly from their website www.monsterchannel.tv if you are away from your TV and want to check it out.
